Green School
St Louis Infant School is a green School. We fly our first green flag with pride and we work hard to maintain our green school status. Our now annual green school competition was a prime example of our ongoing efforts. It was not all hard work either. There was lots of fun as children from the different classes competed with each other for the coveted Green school hamper. Our efforts culminated with the prize giving on Wednesday 21/12/11 following the Christmas prayer service. The excitement of Christmas was palpable with all the children in hall gathered around our very own nativity scene celebrating the birth of Jesus.
Waiting for the results of the competition added to the excitement. It was to a very attentive audience that Mrs Greenan announced the winner. The winner of the competition had 11 stickers and was room 7. Well done to room 7 and Miss Farrell. Well done also to Ciarán and Mantas who were great bin people. They seemed to have the knack of being in the right place at the right time and making sure that Mrs Greenan caught them with the right rubbish in the right bin.Keep up the good work room 7. Many thanks also to Kevin our caretaker for his valuable input
