About Us

Parents Association
All parents are members of the Parents Association and we have a very active Committee who are elected by the parents. They represent the parents’ views on policy making, organise activities for parents, help with fundraising and keep in close contact with the principal of the school.
The Parents Association in St. Louis Infant School have been in action for a number of years. During that time they have organised Table Quizzes, Tea Towel Sales, Valentine`s Draws, Easter Draws and of course they are to the fore helping organise the Cake Sale each Halloween. The funds raised have provided dance lessons, musical instruments and over the last two years a number of Interactive Whiteboards.
But it's not all fundraising. The Parents Association provide help and advice when the school is drawing up school policies and planning major changes. The Parents input is hugely important and through the Parents Association the parental body has the opportunity to contribute to the development of the school.
As with all good associations there is also a social element. The Association has in the past planned social evenings where parents can meet and relax and talk to others in similar circumstances. The meetings are
also reported to be "great craic".
