Fun and Games as future Olympians take to the track.

Sports Day was held in the Convent Park in glorious sunshine. The children suitably dressed in shorts, tracksuits, sun hats and runners had a great time as they moved from one racing station to another, played games, bounced and jumped on the bouncy castles. Eager to run in all the races, and stopping only for short water breaks, there was great excitement as the children took part in the sack race, hoop race, egg and spoon race, wheelbarrow race, obstacle course, 3 legged race and jumping race. Bouncy castles, games with the multicoloured parachute and background music all created a wonderful atmosphere and added to the fun. The day ended with ice lollies to cool down and children returned tired but happy after an exciting fun filled day. Special thanks to Ms. Fitzpatrick for her great work in organising this event for us. Thanks also to her band of helpers who helped set up race stations and gave a helping hand at the bouncy castles.
