World Book Day 2022
With an air of excitement World Book Day was again celebrated in the school on the 3rd and 4th of March. On Thursday, the children got to experience an array of books being read to them by their teachers as well as participating in many fun activities related to the stories being read. Every child leaving school received either a World Book Day book or token that they could take to the local book store to pick out their own fabulous story book.
Then on Friday, the children got to dress up as their favourite character from the many stories they have experienced. Harry Potter could be seen casting spells around the school, it was very hard to spot Where’s Wally in the classrooms and Little Red Riding Hood was very busy trying to stay away from the Big Bad Wolf. Thank you to all the parents who helped dress the children before they came to school. A great day was had by all.
